Mission
A ReStore is a store that accepts donations of new and gently used items from individuals and businesses in the community and sells those items to the public at a reduced cost, usually 50-70 percent of the original retail value. All proceeds go toward building homes with the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
Through the selling of donated construction and home related items:
Increase the number of homes built with low-income families through Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County.
Prevent usable items from being put in landfills.
Provide quality building materials to the general public at discounted Habitat CFC’s ReStore is estimated to fund the building of 3 additional new Habitat CFC homes each year bringing the community closer to reaching the goal of eliminating substandard housing in Fairfield County.
