Photo of Things Matter Intern
After doing a lot of online research and learning about Things Matter, I was really excited to be selected to be a Things Matter intern. During my time here, I was privileged enough to be able to work alongside marketing team. I met a great deal of new people who have similar interests as me. The internship also gave me a chance to grow as a person while getting some real world experience. The projects I got to be involved in had clear deadlines which helped me get out of my comfort zone and learn how to manage my time effectively.

Our Partnerships

Each year, we partner with nonprofit organizations, as well as colleges and universities in Connecticut to provide student internships.
What's special about our partnerships is that in addition to helping us spread the word about our mission and giving us an opportunity to learn from these institutions, they also help bring classroom knowledge into the real world.

What the students learn in their day-to-day activities is then applied through Things Matter's own social enterprise efforts.

We're proud to announce these partnerships and look forward to learning a lot from these students.
We are looking for colleges and universities that would like to partner with Things Matter to support experiential learning, at the same time learning about sustainability.

We invite you to fill out the form below so we can start a working partnership with you and your students.
