A few ways to volunteer

Our volunteers have always been pleased by the opportunities we have presented to them, and it has only been possible through our concerted effort to present them with a wide variety of options that appeal to their tastes, preferences and aspirations.

Warehouse Crew

We constantly looking for people to help us in our warehouse. Moving things, organizing sales, and donation drives are just a sampling of what our warehouse crew does.

Downsizing Crew

We work around our local area to help people downsize. A lot of work goes into making a positive downsizing experience and we need your help to make it successful.

Virtual Crew

These are great opportunities for people, who have difficulties volunteering in-person. They can work from any location, allowing them to participate regardless of their physical limitations.

Some positions are specialized and require particular talents, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as a background check. Other positions only require a desire and willingness to volunteer. In-person volunteers must be at least 18 years and older. Things Matter in-person volunteer opportunities take place during the week between 8:30am and 3:30 pm. Things Matter does not reimburse volunteers for any personal expenses incurred during volunteer projects.
