Things Matter is making a difference in people's lives by providing employment and training for underserved populations through our Work Experience Program.

Our sister organization "Downsize Managers" is a for-profit company that radically changes the way people downsize personal belongings. As a Certified "B" Corporation, which signifies a "company that uses business as a force for the good", their mission is to support the environment and community by donating a multitude of items to Things Matter to be distributed free locally.

The mission of The WorkPlace is to develop a well-educated, well-trained, and self-sufficient workforce that can confidently compete in today’s changing global marketplace. Downsize Managers has employed people through several programs offered by The WorkPlace to help people gain job skills or get back into the work force.
At Things Matter, we believe in creating a safe and supportive work environment where employees can develop their skills and gain valuable work experience. Our mission is to provide essential community services and programs through local, mission-driven agencies to serve our community.
